The structure of the PIL will be like following. · Who are we · RTI data of misuse · Our prayer · Make 498a bailable · No arrest before proper investigation · No arrest before the written approval of an officer not below the rank of ACP in case of 498a · No arrest before the written approval of an officer not below the rank of DCP in case of Dowry Death We request constructive suggestion for this. RTI related We at FAMILY-HARMONY have filed various RTI’s and are collecting data regarding the Misuse of family related laws in India. Following are some of the RTI’s filed by us. We will keep updating various response as and when available to us. All these RTI’s will be used in our PIL to be filed later this year. Please find the status of these RTI’s in RTI statistics section. Helping in filing RTI’s, reviewing and drafting of petition of the victims. Use RTI to get the suicide rate of male and female in India (State wise) Counselling Counseling to come out of the suicidal tendencies and to making strategies to fight the case. Create awareness to Police authorities Write letters to following High-Ranking police officers, to issues instructions to all police stations, so that in case of 498a, no arrest without the written permission of an officer of the rank of ACP:- · Commissioner of Police, Bangalore · DGP, Karnataka Write letters to following High-Ranking police officers, to issues instructions to all police stations, so that in case of death of wife, no arrest without the written permission of an officer of the rank of DCP:- · Commissioner of Police, Bangalore · DGP, Karnataka In view of the rampant misuse of 498a and DV act, write letters to following High-Ranking police officers, to issues clear cut guidelines to be followed in case of a dowry related complaint:- · Commissioner of Police, Bangalore · DGP, Karnataka Create awareness to media Write e-mails/letters to the editors of the leading PRESS to educate them regarding the misuse of women related laws in India.
